Putnam County Student Attends Tennessee Governor’s School for the Humanities
The four-week summer program gives rising high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to experience college life while earning college credit in humanities-based courses. Students take part in credit courses, non-credit enrichment opportunities, seminars and guest speaker sessions designed to deepen their understanding of the humanities and prepare them for future academic success.
The Governor’s School for the Humanities is hosted by UT Martin and brings together students from across the state for an intensive academic experience in a collegiate setting.
For more information about the program, visit utm.edu/HumGovSchool or contact Dr. Jerald Ogg, director of the Governor’s School for the Humanities, at 731-881-7579.
