COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee Tech wide receiver Tremel Jones has been named a Finalist for the 2025 Doris Robinson Scholar-Athlete Award, as announced today by the organization.
Tremel Jones is a standout in the classroom as well as on the field, being a two-year starting wide receiver and returner for the No. 5 Golden Eagles football team. He is one of 13 finalists for the award – one from each conference in the Division I subdivision.
Jones has posted the longest kickoff return of 36 yards for a Tech player this season. He also leads the team in punt return yardage (147), second on the team in receptions (30), and fourth on the team in receiving yards (317) in 2025.
