WEATHER SAFETY FIRST ALERT - ⚠️ TORNADO WATCH IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM
PUTNAM COUNTY, Tenn. — The National Weather Service has issued Tornado Watch #635 for 36 Middle Tennessee counties, including Putnam, White, Overton, Jackson, Smith, Cumberland, and surrounding areas, in effect until 10 PM tonight.
A line of showers and thunderstorms is moving east through the region this evening. Forecasters warn of winds in excess of 60 mph, quarter-size hail, and isolated tornadoes, along with heavy rainfall.

🌪️ Main threats: Damaging winds and hail — a brief tornado can’t be ruled out.
